That's about the truth of it--we did lots of wishin', but no catchin'! The fish just weren't being cooperative! I don't know what their problem was--that dead worm on the end of Kate's fishing pole looked pretty appetizing to me and the salmon eggs on the end of Brooklyn's and Eliza's fishing poles smelled fabulous! Picky eaters--those fish!!
Brooklyn said the cutest thing that morning, tho. The sun was rising behind us. It was light already, but because of the beautiful mountains, it hadn't peeked over them yet. When it finally did, Brooklyn said, "Hey! The daylight just turned on!" It was the cutest thing! Gotta love kids!
