I was lying in bed this morning with Kate. She'd gotten up really early and came in while I was reading. My bedroom window was open, the blinds were up, and you could hear the birds singing and see the trees outside, and feel the peaceful, calm that every early morning brings. Unprovoked, she said to me, "Mom, I like it here. It feels different."
It's a blessing to know that even your children can sense when you've made the right decision.
